Winter Maxi

Hi ladies!!  I wore this super comfortable and colorful maxi skirt and a neutral sweater to our kids homeschool co-op at our church.  I prefer to dress up for Mass, but since we follow up Mass with snacks, gym and art, it is not always feasible.  So this outfit is a good in between.  It is dressed up, yet I can help the kids paint, do jumping jacks and not be worried when I get covered in whatever snack we are having!   Hope everyone is enjoying their advent season!!

Hi ladies!  This camel skirt is another basic that I wear all the time.  It is comfortable to wear running around with the kids and is easy to dress up or down.  I kept the look neutral today, but this skirt can really pair with any color too!

Wintergreen

Hi ladies!  I bought these mint jeans a couple years ago in the spring and I never really thought to wear them outside of spring and summer.  But, when I saw them hanging next to a burgundy top in my closet, I had to give them a try for fall/winter. 

This blouse is a great basic every girl should have in her closet!  It can dress up a pair of jeans and tuck nicely into a skirt.  A great gift too!

Layered

Hi ladies!  I love the look of the "layered sweater", but instead of purchasing a new sweater with the attached under layer, I decided to take a look into my closest to see if I could recreate it.  

I don't find the sweater with the collared shirt underneath very flattering on me for some reason.  It tends to make me look bulky.  Plus I always seem to get really hot and, of course, it is difficult to nurse a little one wearing two thick layers.  So instead I paired this blush sweater (link below) with this sleeveless tunic length shell (link below) for a similar silhouette.  I love how it feels light, yet layered at the same time, plus both pieces can be mixed and matched in other outfits as well.

Vest & Scarf

Hi ladies!  I originally had a sweater dress in mind for the look, but I didn't have room in my budget to purchase one.  So, I put together a top and skirt in similar shades of gray, then threw a vest over the top to camoflauge the fact that these were actually two pieces.  This outfit is also very accessible for a nursing baby, especially with the scarf.

Rainy Day

Hi ladies! While these boots are not as slick as the Hunter boots you see all over Pinterest, these Chooka's are really great quality.  My last pair of rain boots ripped down the seam since I am constantly bending down in them so I couldn't justify spending more than $40 on rain boots again. I purchased these during DSW's Cyber Monday sale.  I linked a similar (but newer) option below but they are full price.  DSW still has these in stock I believe, but they may not have as many cute colors.

Festive Scarf

Hi ladies!  Here is a simple look for the upcoming Holidays.  This is a maxi dress but I often wear it as a skirt in the winter.  I added a scarf and a cardigan to add some color (and warmth) and it became a fun, nursing friendly Christmas look.  

Target has the cutest scarves right now and they are very affordable!  I love that adding one made my old black dress feel new!  I linked some options below but the Target near me had lots of other cute options as well.
