Neutrals

Hi ladies!  Not much to say today, but here is a comfy, easy outfit that is great for running errands and taking the kids to the park.

As a follow up to yesterday's post, I am trying to avoid thinking (ok obsessing) about labor and instead, trying to focus on those 20-30 minutes after my baby is born.  It is always such an indescribable moment and it is almost euphoric.  The doctor hands over your little one and you are completely in love with your little baby who you feel you have been missing your whole life and your body is just so relaxed and relieved to have just done something so incredible.  Anyway, I have always brought newborn photos of my other kids too during labor to help me through it and that has helped as well.

Thanks for listening!

Olive & Plum

Hi ladies!  Hope you all are doing well this week!  I just had another ultrasound and thankfully my little guy decided to flip so he's head down now and ready to go!  I'm so excited!  Even though this is my fifth child, I still get somewhat terrified when I think about labor.  I have delivered all of my babies naturally and despite one of my kids coming out face up (so painful), and one of them wrapping the cord around their neck (so scary), my labors have always been relatively smooth.  Even so, I still tend to worry, doubt my body's abilities and forget to trust in God.  Luckily, my husband is good at reminding me of all this and keeping me sane!

Anyway, this is another of my favorite color combos for fall and this dress is perfect for anyone who is expecting!  It is not maternity, but because of the blouson waist it can be worn throughout pregnancy.  It probably won't be the best for nursing in those early months, because the sleeves won't pull down easily, but once the baby is nursing a little less infrequently I could definitely see wearing it all the time!  I think it would look great with a faux leather jacket and knee high boots in the winter, and a jean jacket or white cardigan in the spring.

Thanks so much for reading!!

(Oh and please excuse my hair in these pics!  It was really windy and I may or may not have only brushed it in the car!  Ha!)

Floral Tunic

Hi ladies!  Here is another tunic I purchased from Pink Blush when they were running a 30% off tops sale earlier this month.  My baby bump might be getting a little too big to wear with this top with leggings (it is a little short in front), but it is too comfortable!  This is another top like this one that I think will look great (and be long enough in front) after the baby comes too!

I purchased these boots in the middle of summer on Amazon for a steal and I am so pleased with them!  They are "pull on" so maybe a little challenging to get off at the end of the day, but very comfortable and sleek.

Thanks so much for reading!!

Red, Leopard & Olive

Hi friends!  This dress has been on repeat for me over here!  It is so soft and easy to style.  Leopard, olive & red are a favorite fall color combo for me so when I threw on this olive cardigan - I knew immediately what accessories I was going to wear!

Also, we found out a couple of weeks ago that my little guy is breech.  I have been doing "elephant walks" and "downward dogs" to try to get him to flip but no luck yet!  I am looking into acupuncture, chiropractors and possibly having a Fetal Medicine Specialist perform a version (ECV) so that I can avoid having a C-Section.  Has anyone had any experience with any of these??   Would love to hear from you guys and would appreciate your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery!

Thanks so much for reading!

Plaid Scarf

Hi ladies!  Here is another simple outfit perfect for everyday activities!  It is great how a denim jacket, simple plaid scarf, cute ankle booties and a autumn hued handbag can tie together a white tee and black maternity pants.  I have linked more scarf options below too because I love them so much!  Great for nursing and even swaddling the baby in a pinch!

Tunic & Leggings

Hi friends!  Thank you so much for your prayers and condolences for the passing of my father in law.  He was such an amazing man and I look forward to telling you more about him.

On a lighter note, since not too much fits me anymore (I am almost 36 weeks!), I convinced myself into buying a couple of tunics that I could wear with leggings now and that I can definitely see myself lounging in (and wearing outside the house) when my little guy arrives.  This outfit will be great when we have visitors that want to see the baby, but I really don't want to get dressed.  This top is so soft and drapes in such a flattering way.  Thanks so much for reading!
