Printed Tee

Hello!  I know this outfit isn't really anything special, but I try to feature everything I wear, dressed up or dressed down.  I usually opt for solid colors as they pair with more items, but I also like to have a pretty printed top when I feel like throwing on jeans and a tee.

These sandals are so comfortable!  They are from Born and they are great for lots of walking- the foot bed is so supportive and soft at the same time.

Also, linked some more affordable printed tees after the break.

Thanks so much for reading!

Little Gray Dress- 3 ways

Hi ladies!  For my birthday last month, my mom and dad and my father-in-law both gave my gift certificates to LOFT.  It's kind of funny to me that everyone knows how much I love LOFT!  When I started browsing online, I knew I wanted to find a non maternity dress that was super versatile so when I saw this Lou & Grey dress was on sale - I added it to my bag immediately!  This dress is so comfortable and it basically goes with everything.  It was hard to pick only three ways to feature this dress.  I also plan on pairing it with a black moto jacket, a cognac leather jacket, a long beige cardigan, a denim jacket, a variety of scarfs or a white shirt tied at the waist.

For the second outfit, the red shoes were a bit of a splurge for me at just over $100, but I will be sharing my tips later on how I bought them for only $30!

I hadn't planned on photographing the last outfit since it really isn't anything out of the ordinary, but I really loved how the tennis shoes went with the dress and my feet were definitely thanking me too!  Outfit details below!!  Thanks for reading!!

Long Kimono

Hi everyone!  Here is a simple look I wore the other day out and about.  This kimono is long but super lightweight so it gives the perfect amount of coverage on a hot summer day.  I think this would look really cute over a white dress, a chambray dress, or shorts.  I only have two pairs of maternity shorts and I refuse to purchase anymore!  I also thought this might be cute as a beach cover up.

Again, I couldn't find this exact one online, but I like the American Eagle one linked below even more than this one!

Thanks for reading!!!

18 weeks!

Hi ladies!  We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting baby #5 in November!  I am about 18 weeks along.  While I dealt with some mild naseau during my first trimester, this pregnancy has gone relatively smoothly so far.  I have finally felt the baby kicking and that is always one of the most amazing feelings in the world!

Since this is my fifth pregnancy now, I feel I have finally learned what clothing items to buy and what not to buy when pregnant.  Aside from a couple of pairs of maternity jeans, solid maternity tanks & tees and a couple of jersey skirts, I try to continue to buy clothing in my normal size, but that are designed in a way that flares out at the waist, like the top featured in this post.  This top is only $17.50 right now and it comes in black and white too!  I should be able to wear this top for a couple more months and then it will also fit great after the baby is born.

While these shoes are super comfortable, I would have preferred to wear some lace up heels or an edgier open toe bootie with this outfit.  I linked some funkier options below.  I probably won't be purchasing any heels at the moment, because my feet get so sore when I am pregnant, but it's always fun to daydream!

Winter Maxi

Hi ladies!!  I wore this super comfortable and colorful maxi skirt and a neutral sweater to our kids homeschool co-op at our church.  I prefer to dress up for Mass, but since we follow up Mass with snacks, gym and art, it is not always feasible.  So this outfit is a good in between.  It is dressed up, yet I can help the kids paint, do jumping jacks and not be worried when I get covered in whatever snack we are having!   Hope everyone is enjoying their advent season!!

Layered

Hi ladies!  I love the look of the "layered sweater", but instead of purchasing a new sweater with the attached under layer, I decided to take a look into my closest to see if I could recreate it.

I don't find the sweater with the collared shirt underneath very flattering on me for some reason.  It tends to make me look bulky.  Plus I always seem to get really hot and, of course, it is difficult to nurse a little one wearing two thick layers.  So instead I paired this blush sweater (link below) with this sleeveless tunic length shell (link below) for a similar silhouette.  I love how it feels light, yet layered at the same time, plus both pieces can be mixed and matched in other outfits as well.

Thanks so much for reading!!
