Yellow Sundress

Hi ladies!  I purchased this bright yellow dress from LOFT a couple of weeks ago and I love it!  It is so easy to wear and it's not maternity!  Because the upper bodice fits well (I am wearing a 4 for reference), I am certain this dress will work post pregnancy too.  The camisole straps will make it easy to nurse in also as long as I have a cardigan or jean jacket with me since I will probably need to unzip a little.  I have been living in dresses lately because it's so much less restricting with my ever growing bump.  I included a whole bunch of dresses from Shopbop below since they are having a 25% off sale right now with code designer25.  Some of the dresses may not be eligible for the discount because they are already marked down, so there are some great deals to be had!

Pom Pom Scarf

Hi ladies!  Here is a casual look I wore yesterday to run errands and take the kids to the park.  I am loving the pom pom trend for the summer, and a scarf is an inexpensive and practical way to add the trend to your wardrobe.

Also, I am a consultant for NYR Organics and we are having a major summer sale!  I posted a flyer below detailing all of our luxurious products that are 25% off right now until supplies last.  Remember, if you become a consultant with me (I'm not pushy - I promise!), you will get an extra 25% all items!

Denim Blazer

Hi friends!  Hope everyone had a good holiday celebrating the good old USA!!

While this blazer is older, I like to invest in items like this when I am pregnant or nursing because jackets, blazers, vests, scarves and jewelry will always fit (regardless of being pregnant or nursing), be practical and add a layer of interest to a basic outfit.  I linked a couple of similar chambray blazers below and a couple of turquoise pendants because a pop of blue seems to go with everything!

Red, White & Blue

Hi ladies!  While it's doubtful we will be doing much this Independence Day since my kiddos are sick, I wanted to share a few outfit ideas I was planning on wearing.  Instead of buying a brand new outfit, I found this blue and white dress in my closet and purchased some red tassel earrings at Charming Charlie's to go with it.  I also grabbed this cute red scarf to make a white tee and jeans more festive.  While it's tempting to purchase a new festive look, it's makes more sense to put what you have to good use and buy little accessories that can amp up your look, but also be worn a lot in the future as well!  Thank so much for reading!

Blush & Beige

Hi ladies!  I have to admit, I was a bit relieved when the temperature cooled down just a little this week.  My kids all came down with ear infections and strep simultaneously and I think it had to do with being so active in the heat and going in between the heat and the air conditioning so often.  While it's always stressful and upsetting to have sick children, it's sometimes necessary to take a little break too.

On a side note, this neutral, lightweight sweater is perfect to throw on when it is hot outside, but freezing everywhere else!  It is super soft and washes well without any pilling.  Everything is 50% off right now at LOFT so I may have to scoop up a few more colors!!

Thanks so much for reading!!

18 weeks!

Hi ladies!  We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting baby #5 in November!  I am about 18 weeks along.  While I dealt with some mild naseau during my first trimester, this pregnancy has gone relatively smoothly so far.  I have finally felt the baby kicking and that is always one of the most amazing feelings in the world!

Since this is my fifth pregnancy now, I feel I have finally learned what clothing items to buy and what not to buy when pregnant.  Aside from a couple of pairs of maternity jeans, solid maternity tanks & tees and a couple of jersey skirts, I try to continue to buy clothing in my normal size, but that are designed in a way that flares out at the waist, like the top featured in this post.  This top is only $17.50 right now and it comes in black and white too!  I should be able to wear this top for a couple more months and then it will also fit great after the baby is born.

While these shoes are super comfortable, I would have preferred to wear some lace up heels or an edgier open toe bootie with this outfit.  I linked some funkier options below.  I probably won't be purchasing any heels at the moment, because my feet get so sore when I am pregnant, but it's always fun to daydream!
