Winter White

Hi ladies!  I had been looking for a casual, long sleeve dress for a while now, so when SheIn reached out to me, this dress caught my eye immediately!  The crochet detail is so pretty and the dress has great movement.  It is a little short on me to work as a dress, but it works great with leggings.  Since it is loose fitting I think it would work great as a maternity top too.

SheIn has some beautiful and affordable outerwear and sweaters available too, so make sure you check them out!

Holiday Look & Lilla Rose Giveaway

Hi ladies!  One thing I have learned from taking pictures of myself everyday is that when my hair is messy and unruly, it doesn't really matter if my outfit looks "put together".  Since my hair has so many flyaways from having four babies so close together, I am always looking for a quick and easy way to style my hair.  Especially with the holidays coming up, I loved the idea of making a simple pony tail more fancy.  So when Melody from Lilla Rose reached out to me about featuring one of her "Flexi clips" on my blog, I happily obliged.  It happened to be super windy on the day I took these photos, so I hope you still get a good idea of how beautiful these clips look in your hair.
I styled my hair in a low ponytail, pulled out some pieces in the front and placed the clip above the pony tail.  So easy!  I have since learned that you don't even need an elastic, the clip can hold your hair by itself.  I love how this dresses up my hair for a low maintenance holiday look.  They have so many different colors, headbands, bobby pins that all look so fun!   Here is another beautiful example of their "hair jewelery":

Melody has graciously offered to giveaway one of these awesome clips to one of my readers.  To enter the giveaway, please leave a comment below and suscribe to my blog by email or folow me on Instagram @babiesandbluejeans and leave a comment.  If you tag a friend, I will add an extra entry to the raffle.

*This giveaway is not associated with Lilla Rose.  I will announce the winner on Friday!

Thanks so much!!

Fuzzy Cardigan & Lace

Hi ladies!  I purchased both this sweater and the lace top from an online boutique called Ruche.  This sweater is like wearing a blanket and this lace top is so pretty.  I am excited to wear the cardigan with a skirt or dress and I think the lace top would pair nicely with a skirt too.  Ruche also has some really great new arrivals for the upcoming holidays (I linked them below).

I thought I would share that I originally was wearing pastel floral flats with this outfit, but by the time we got around to taking pictures, my feet were really cold so I had changed into these booties.  Obviously, the flats looked a lot better and I think a metallic heel would look super stylish too,  but practicality and comfort usually come first for me and I always feature items that I actually wear.

Fair Isle

Hi ladies!  Hope you all had a good weekend!  I picked up this sweater at Target last week in the hopes of it working as a dress with leggings.  I purchased a large when I would usually get a small.  It might be just a tad short, even with leggings, but if I were to size up again, I feel it would be too wide.  Either way, I still really love it and it is so comfortable.  I plan on wearing it when we travel to Michigan to celebrate the upcoming holidays.  The sweater looks really nice with skinny jeans too, and while I am glad I sized up, it would be really cute in your normal size too!

Denim & Sparkles

Hi ladies!  Since I doubled up on the denim for today's look, I grabbed the sparkliest scarf in my closet to "girly up" the outfit.  This outfit was so comfortable and chic for spending the morning at our homeschool co-op.  I watched the girls disect an owl pellet and it was so much fun!  My kids were, of course, the only ones who did not want to wear gloves and were SO EXCITED finding all the bones.

Hydrated Skin

Hi all!  As cooler months are approaching, it is really important to me to keep my skin hydrated.  I actually love the fall and winter seasons, but I can't stand itchy skin!  Who can right?  As you know if you have read my blog before, I am a consultant for NYR Organics.  When I was pregnant with my third daughter, I was on the hunt to find an anti-aging cream that was safe to use while pregnant and breast feeding.  After searching for quite a while, I finally came across this anti-aging cream from NYR and fell in love!  I signed up to be a consultant right away so that I could earn the discount, with no intention of selling.  But as I have begun to use and love ALL of their toiletries, vitamins, baby products, essential oils, books, candles and make up, selling and recruiting has just come naturally.

One of my favorite products is our Grapeseed Oil.  We also carry Almond Oil and Argan Oil but I am partial to the grapeseed oil because it is cheaper and really versatile.  I have to have this in the winter because not only is it really hydrating on it's own,  but also, when applied before lotion, it really locks in the moisture and relieves ANY itchiness.  I also put a few drops in the bath to keep my skin from drying out.  I will even add some to the ends of my hair or apply it to flyaways.

I also love all of our body butters, but this Garden Mint & Bergamot is probably my favorite.  I love the scent and it is ultra nourishing.  All of our body butters are heat activated so after you scoop some into your hand and rub your hands together the body butter warms and glides into your skin so smoothly.  My skin literally feels like silk!

The Wild Rose Beauty Balm is also a must have for winter.  I wrote about here in my "at home facial" post.  I use it at least once a week in the winter as an overnight cream, and in the morning, my skin looks and feels so hydrated.  I also love to put it on the kids cheeks and lips before they play in the snow so their skin does not get irritated.  If you are interested in this product, I do have some samples I would be happy to mail you!

Thanks so much for reading!!

Moto Jacket

Hi ladies!!  While this is not the most creative look, I wanted to show you guys this jacket before it sells out.  It is so soft and warm, but has the structure and sophistication of a leather jacket.  I love that the arms are a contrasting color and fabric, plus the fleece fabric gives your elbows and shoulder much more movement than your typical leather jacket.  Target is offering 20% off clothing, shoes and accessories now so it is a great time to buy!  Thanks so much for reading! !
