Red, Leopard & Olive

Hi friends!  This dress has been on repeat for me over here!  It is so soft and easy to style.  Leopard, olive & red are a favorite fall color combo for me so when I threw on this olive cardigan - I knew immediately what accessories I was going to wear!  

Also, we found out a couple of weeks ago that my little guy is breech.  I have been doing "elephant walks" and "downward dogs" to try to get him to flip but no luck yet!  I am looking into acupuncture, chiropractors and possibly having a Fetal Medicine Specialist perform a version (ECV) so that I can avoid having a C-Section.  Has anyone had any experience with any of these??   Would love to hear from you guys and would appreciate your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery!

Tunic & Leggings

Hi friends!  Thank you so much for your prayers and condolences for the passing of my father in law.  He was such an amazing man and I look forward to telling you more about him.  

On a lighter note, since not too much fits me anymore (I am almost 36 weeks!), I convinced myself into buying a couple of tunics that I could wear with leggings now and that I can definitely see myself lounging in (and wearing outside the house) when my little guy arrives.  This outfit will be great when we have visitors that want to see the baby, but I really don't want to get dressed.  This top is so soft and drapes in such a flattering way.  Thanks so much for reading!

Fitted Dress & Fuzzy Cardigan

Hi ladies!  As some of you may know, it has been over a month and a half since my last post.  Sadly, my father-in-law passed away from prostate cancer about a month ago so blogging has obviously been the last thing on my mind.  I do have a lot more to share with you all in regards to his passing because he was such an inspiration to everyone he met, but I am still trying to find the right words to honor him.  When my mother-in-law passed away in January of this year, I thought my blogging days were pretty much done.  Nothing really seemed important after that, but eventually writing about her life and death and maintaining the blog actually proved to be therapeutic and maybe somewhat of a distraction from the sadness.  So as I said, I do look forward to sharing more with you guys, but I can't put it into words quite yet.  

In the meantime, here is an outfit I wore recently and had to post because these ruched dress from Target are a must have for pregnancy and are a great price point too.

Fall Florals

Hi ladies!  Another casual look on the blog today!  I think these maternity jeans might be from my second pregnancy (seven years ago), before skinny jeans were all the rage.  These have the "full panel" and are so comfortable.  While I think skinny jeans are adorable on pregnant women, I am not sure I could do it!  I can't stand anything too tight when I am further along in my pregnancy.  I get uncontrollably itchy, sweaty and kind of moody!  Ha!  So I will stick to these for now- buying another pair of maternity jeans seems a bit ridiculous at this point!

Prairie Dress

Hi ladies!  I purchased these Aerosole True Plush Wedges through Amazon a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with them!  They are really comfortable even with the wedge heel.  I have actually realized that a little height in my heel is actually more comfortable than a perfectly flat shoe. Has anyone else ever thought that?  Maybe it is just me, but I would actually prefer to wear these than some of my flats if I was going to be doing a lot of walking.  Anyway, I thought Aerosole was targeted to an older crowd but they have a lot of really cute and trendy shoes on the market right now.  (Or maybe I'm just part of the "older crowd" now!  Ha!)  You can always find great shoe deals on Amazon and you can buy some fall boots and ankle boots now for pretty cheap so check them out!
